About Us

Penelope von Kalinowski founded PvK Associates, LLC, in 2016. She is a results-oriented executive, with a most interesting career path that began when she worked as a former British Prime Minister’s administrative assistant. She then was invited to work for Sir Fred Hoyle at the Institute of Theoretical Astronomy, University of Cambridge, in England. When Penny moved back to London, she worked for the International Coordinator of a worldwide advertising agency that transferred her to New York. After New York, she has lived and worked in Raleigh – North Carolina, Minneapolis, San Francisco and finally in Los Angeles.

An innovative administrator, with an ability to connect the right people with each other and with key projects, drawing upon a wide circle of contacts and resources. To date Penny has worked in the advertising, publishing, travel, event planning, legal, aerospace, non-profit and real estate investment industries, bringing her administrative strengths to each opportunity. She not only works for corporate and nonprofit clients, she also works with individuals who need her organization skills. Technically adept, Penny also has strong written and verbal communication skills. Those, along with her administrative abilities, have been the links that have enabled her to work in numerous industries. Her work and other travels have taken her to 47 countries thus far.

Penny’s Major Strengths Include:

In addition to PvK Associates, Penny is an advocate for animals, particularly dogs. She particularly cares for elderly dogs and has provided a safe, loving home for many of them. In addition to several corporate boards, Penny has served on numerous community Boards and Advisory Boards, including the Board of the spcaLA. Penny is currently the Chair of Off Leash In Parks, Inc., a registered Southern California nonprofit organization. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Angels Gate.

Maggie’s Services Include:

In addition to her work at PvK Associates, Maggie is a multidisciplinary artist whose passions include photography, digital art, and music. She captures the natural world through the lens, transforming everyday moments into striking images and kaleidoscopic visual art. As DJ Maggie, she curates immersive downtempo mixes and heads a small record label, blending her love of sound with community-building. Her creative work is driven by a deep sense of wonder, reflection, and connection.
